This page describes how to report Security Bugs.

via E-Mail

Security bugs or queries can be sent to our official security contact address security@suse.de . Please include all relevant information (as usual).

This is the prefered method for asking for more information, or for telling us about security bugs that are not public.

via Bugzilla

Security Bugs can also be entered into Bugzilla, but note that they will be public to others. Please report such bugs against the "Security" component to get the security teams attention.

A bugzilla report is the prefered methods for security bugs already published somewhere. Again, please include all relevant information, including CVE numbers, URLs pointing to the problem or similar.

Mailing list

There is also the Mailinglist opensuse-security@opensuse.org for discussing security related topics.
