Branding of openSUSE 11.0

This document describes instructions for particular branding packages.

Generated from spec file comments of the openSUSE 11.0 source RPM packages.

gdm

Provide two equal files - /usr/share/gdm/defaults.conf and
factory-defaults.conf with default configuration of gdm.
Branding package requires the package with the default theme.

gimp

/usr/share/gimp/2.0/images/gimp-splash.png is a splash screen in
GIMP, original size is 300x400. Bottom part displays "just
starting" text and progress bar.

kdebase3-SuSE

gnome-session

gnome-splash.png: Splash screen. Bottom 70 pixels are used for
"just starting" icons. This area is bright in the original
branding. Must be png or change system gconf key
/apps/gnome-session/options/splash_image
Upstream uses 420x293 pixels in GNOME 2.20.

glib2

The /etc/gnome_defaults.conf allows to define arbitrary
applications as preferred defaults.

gconf2-branding-openSUSE provides branding Look and Feel using
gconf schemas. All referenced files must be present in this
package or in required packages.

FIXME: There is no way to customize vendor bookmarks in epiphany yet.

the picture is overlapped by the progress bar: x,y=212,216; w,h=263,8
the default progress bar color is 0,0,128 (blue)
the progress bar has 1 pixel width white border
