SuSE Linux 8.2 was released on Wednesday, April 7, 2003. It was the first to include 64 bit architecture support, AA fonts, improved integration of GNOME, and ISDN improvements. SuSE Linux 8.2 was succeeded by SUSE Linux 9.0 on October 15, 2003. SuSE Linux 8.2 reached its End of Lifetime on July 14, 2005. SuSE Linux 8.2 is still downloadable by an FTP install or by a Live Evaluation CD. It was preceded by SuSE Linux 8.1.
