On Wednesday, October 15, 2003 SUSE Linux 9.0 was released. It was the last release of SUSE Linux before Novell acquired SUSE Linux Products GmbH. SUSE Linux 9.0 included Samba support and System profile configuration in YaST. SUSE Linux 9.0 was succeeded by SUSE Linux 9.1 on April 23, 2004. SUSE Linux 9.0 reached its End of Lifetime on October 15, 2005. SUSE Linux 9.0 is still available via a FTP install and Live Evaluation discs. It was preceded by SuSE Linux 8.2
