ARCH Team

The ARCH Team (also called Architecture Maintenance) is taking care of adapting SUSE Linux to platforms other than run-off-the-mill PC systems. We currently support AMD64 and EM64T, Itanium, POWER/PowerPC (32 and 64 bit) and System Z. Our job is to implement platform-specific solutions, fix platform-specific bugs and generally ensure that SUSE Linux remains a highly portable operating system.
